We have a New York State budget. UUP was quite successful in achieving some of our major goals. Foremost among these successes, is of course, the Legislature’s rejection of SUNY’s plan to close Downstate. But we also were able to garner more operating funds for the campuses where we work.
I want to thank you and all of you who took a role through advocacy in making these successes possible. The attached memo gives you details on the sections of the state budget relevant to our work.
