Several scholarships are available to SUNY students and members, and submission deadlines are coming up for several of them.
- The new UUP Benefit Trust Fund Scholarship Program is open to the dependents of UUP-represented employees. There are two different application forms based on a member’s eligibility for the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP). Non-NYSHIP-eligible employees will need to provide documentation verifying that they are the parent of the student.

- The UUP Steve Street Award, given to an undergraduate student or group of undergrads enrolled at a state-operated SUNY campus who have created a paper or project related to social justice; and
- The Robert G. Porter Scholars Program for members of the American Federation of Teachers and/or their children. Funding is offered through the Union Plus Education Foundation.
