The UUP Individual Development Award (IDA) program is intended to assist eligible UUP represented employees (full and part-time) in developing their full professional potential and in preparing for advancement.
This is money that may be provided for enhancing teaching, research capabilities, and improving professional knowledge and skills. Funding may not be awarded to purchase equipment or supplies. The maximum possible award is $1,000.
Please note: Purchase of equipment, books, software, professional dues, licensing cost, certification or examination fee for license or certification are NOT permitted.
The application that employees may use to apply for IDA awards:
CHECKLIST:
- Fill out google form & application (located towards end of form)
- Completely Fill out ALL questions, print out and sign application.
- Scan the file and rename file with Last Name ,First Name IDA 2017-2018 then upload where it says “add a file” under Application of google form.
- Be sure to upload a copy of Resume/CV/Activity or Program Brochure and copies of the receipts (not originals, the originals receipts will be necessary later)
ANY MISSING ITEM IS AN INCOMPLETE APPLICATION AND MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
