UUP members repeatedly raise workload increases as a major point of concern, and numerous UUP chapters are holding workload sessions for union members to learn and strategize about workload. However, workload pressures impact UUP members with supervisory duties in particular and sometimes complex ways. Join UUP Vice Presidents Carolyn Kube and Alissa Karl, and NYSUT Staff Director Jeremy Ginsburg to discuss how workload pressures – and the workload of others – impact chairs and supervisors, and strategies for applying union values to managing both their own workload and the workload of others.
